     

Peach (Prunus persica) is one of the major fruits. The first peach genome assembly was released in 2010. The International Peach Genome Initiative conducted whole-genome resequencing of 14 Prunus accessions (Nature Genetics, 2013). Peach genome is ~224.6 Mb organized in eight pseudomolecules, and contains 27,852 predicted protein-coding genes. |
