Amborella (Amborella trichopoda) is thought to represent an early diverging lineage of the flowering plants. The draft genome of A. trichopoda was published on Science in 2013 (ref,   Amborella Genome Database), which is composed of 5,745 scaffolds covering 706 megabases. Its entire genome is estimated to be ~870 megabases.
